Vintage Peacock chair

Currently, we are seeing the resurgence of the fan-top chair that has been popular for many years.  Many remember it as the "Morticia Addams" chair from the 1960's TV show The Addams Family.  As early as 1930, Loretta young was photographed in the same type of chair.  Now, it has been written up in The New York Times as well as being talked about by the Curator of Decorative Arts and Design at Atlanta's High Museum of Art.  Anthropologie has designed a new take on this same chair but theirs will sell for $598.  Ours is just $250.
