Another Monday at The Courtyard

Sneak peek #32 -- today at the Courtyard.  Because of vacations, we had less consignment appointments than usual and only 2 move-in appointments.  While we took in fewer items, the shop still looks fresh and new because we rearranged the furniture and brought in some things from the storage area.  Our volunteers did a great job so please come in and see for yourself all of the unique things that are available for you to take to your home, cottage or office.
We always think we have unusual items but notice the bench in the bottom right hand corner of the 9pac of pictures.  According to the consigner and the research we did, it is a lambing table used by people who were sheering their sheep.  There is a drawer under the seat for additional storage.  By adding a few vintage hooks, this would make a great hall or mudroom piece where you can sit and put on (or take off) your boots or shoes, hang jackets, hats, use the drawer for gloves, scarves, etc.  It is pine and light in color, nicely made and sturdy.  Come see it in person!
