New Arrivals at The Courtyard

Sneak peek #64 -- we have some lovely new items in the shop.  Today we redecorated to make the space as attractive and appealing as possible. Now it's ready for you to come see all that's new and shop with us.  

Chairs -- have a seat!

While the winds are blowing and the temperatures can't even get up to zero, it's the perfect time to stay home in front of the fire with a good book.  But first you need a comfortable chair so come in to see what we have available -- styles and colors to fit any home.

These arrived today and are waiting for the shop to open tomorrow morning in hopes of going to a new home.  Our wonderful volunteers braved the cold and came in today to help with the new consignment items, then decorated the entire shop to look fresh and inviting. Hope to see you soon!

Newly Arrived at The Courtyard

Sneak Peek of the Week #7.  Here are just a few of the new things that arrived at The Courtyard today and will be available for purchase tomorrow morning when the shop opens at 10:00am.  There is a Christopher Radko teddy bear, lovely amethyst crystal goblets, antique furniture, a leather sofa, vintage evening bags and other unusual items.

We have great gift items as well as things for your home, office or cottage.  There are some unique vintage jewelry pieces that just arrived and would be perfect for that special lady in your life.  Come in and see for yourself -- all things new, different, one of a kind and completely suitable to keep or give.

Our shop is open from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm Tuesday through Friday and 10:00 am until 4:30 pm Saturday.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

Sneak Peek of the Week #6.  As usual, our designers worked all day and well into the night preparing the store for tomorrow's opening at 10am.  Here's a quick look at several of our new arrivals into the shop today:  Mahogany coffee tables, an unique pair of vintage Chapman horn lamps, lovely antique beaded purse, a Steiff Airedale Terrier, Rosenthal china Bokhara pattern, a large decorative brass urn and the cute pagoda tiered shelf for display.  And this is only a sampling of what arrived!  Stop in soon, there are plenty of holiday treasures for all.

Sneak Peek of the Week #2  Every Monday night, after working all day taking in new merchandise for consignment at The Courtyard, we will be posting a "9 square" -- 9 small photos of things that will be available for purchase when the shop opens on Tuesday morning at 10am giving you the advantage of seeing some of what has come in before the rush begins.  As you will notice from this weeks sneak peek, Christmas has come a little early -- but it's never too soon to begin your holiday shopping.  Don't see what you want for your special someone, why not give a gift certificate?  Just throwing some ideas out there!

New Consignments at The Courtyard

Sneak Peek for the Week #1 Another Monday has come and is almost gone -- we worked very hard today taking in many new consignment items.  We have decided to give you a sneak peak every Monday evening of what is new and will be ready to go home with you first thing in the morning. Tuesday is always a busy day in the shop because everyone knows that many of the items available are new.  There is usually a line at the door before 10am when we open -- people who want to be first to see the new vignettes and things that are for sale. Here is your preview of what is available.

Also, remember that our overstock sale is this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1 and 2 from 10 am until 4:30 pm each day.  It will be at our new storage location just east of our permanent shop in the walkway between Hinsdale Bank and Trust and CiNe restaurant.  This sale will be for furniture, rugs and mirrors.  There will be no small items at this sale.  As usual with our special event sales, items must be taken as soon as possible after purchase, preferably the same weekend of the sale.  We have such limited space that we can't store it.
