We are looking forward to a long beautiful fall weekend and all the possibilities it brings for our shop. Even though Monday, Oct. 14 is a legal holiday, we will be busy working to catalog and inventory all the new merchandise that is arriving that day. We have some very high quality furniture pieces coming in with some being placed directly in the shop while others are going into storage for a short time until space is available for them.
For those of you who are new to our shop and just finding us from our new blog, we are a high end consignment shop for furniture, rugs, lamps, art work, mirrors, china, crystal, vintage jewelry and figurines. We accept items that have been pre-approved by our merchandisers and arrive on a pre-scheduled date. The items are taken for a period of 60 days with the price being reduced by 15% at the end of 30 days if it has not sold by that time. At the end of the 60 day consignment period, the items not sold are either reclaimed by the owner or donated outright to Wellness House. If they are donated, we can reduce them drastically in order to sell these items and then 100% of the sale price goes to Wellness House to help with their costs of services given to and provided for cancer patients and their families. Approximately 85% of the items consigned with us sell during their 60 day period.
Pictured is a lovely coral colored chenille sofa priced at $795 and matching chair priced at $395. These won't last long so come in and see what a beautiful color they are and the condition of each piece.
Our shop is located at 63 Village Place, Hinsdale, IL and our hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am until 4:30 pm. We are staffed by volunteers and 100% of our profits go to benefit Wellness House.
