One of our frequent customers has been watching this vintage French Provencal armoire and shared her idea for repurposing this. She suggested painting it white or cream, changing out the fabric inside the doors (blue gingham for boys, pink rosebuds for girls) and using the center vanity flat surface for a changing table. There are shelves and drawers inside both armoires allowing for lots of storage space for diapers, wipes, sleepers and clothing. As your child grows so do the uses for this piece -- the changing table becomes a desk or make-up table and clothing and games can be stored neatly and out of sight. There is even a stool for the vanity with a graceful curved back that can be reupholstered to match the fabric on the doors.
