3 Bargains of the Week -- BOTW at The Courtyard

Periodically, we have donated items that we can reduce to very affordable prices so that our loyal customers can find a real bargain while helping out Wellness House by funding the programs they offer to people who live with cancer.  This week we have 3 such items -- our Bargains of the Week (BOTW).

First, we have a beautiful antique mahogany Victorian sideboard.  There is a center drawer and each side opens for storage with shelves.  It was originally $995.00 but is now only $395.00.

Second, we have a large glass front cabinet with shelving behind the glass, a pull out shelf and 2  doors on the bottom with shelving inside.  It would make a great bar with storage for your glassware on top, bottles on the bottom and the shelf pulled out for mixing and serving.   Let your imagination soar and come up with the perfect storage idea for your home!  This is now only $425.00 down from $1,100.00.

Third, we have a vintage solid wooden dictionary stand that will fit into a corner somewhere or stand prominently in your home.  Show off your favorite coffee table book, a family bible or what it was originally designed for!  Originally $145.00 it is now just $75.00.  

New Webpage!!!

After months of work, our manager has gotten our new webpage up and running!  It is user friendly and easy to navigate.  You asked for more pictures so now you have them.  Furniture items are in categories and simple to follow the price and when the prices go down.  There is also a category for BOTW -- Bargain of the Week -- that shows what has been donated and is now at a super low price to try and sell before we pass it on to another charity.  After all, our goal is to make money for Wellness House so any of the BOTW items we sell gives the funds to them.  Check out the new webpage at www.shopthecourtyard.com and see for yourself how great it is.  Below, we have 2 featured BOTW items for you to view.  The first is a pine 2 piece hutch with good storage and shallow enough not to take up a lot of space in your kitchen, den, dining room, wherever.  Now just $100.00

New this week at The Courtyard

Sneak peek #66 -- this week we received several sets of china, some formal, some not.  We have Pickard, new Fiesta, Franciscan and Ohio made Limoges.  We have a large inventory of dining room style chairs many ready to be used others need re-upholstering.  All are priced fairly with some ready for bids.  There are 2 vintage wooden children's school chairs and a pair of mid-century modern youth chairs.  Lamps?  Oh yeah, we have those too.  Come in and see what is available.

We are trying to appeal to the younger customers (anyone under Medicare age is younger than us!) so that we can find new consigners who will bring in items that appeal to our newer patrons.  As our shop has aged, so have the consigners -- they tend to bring in items that they like but don't necessarily "speak" to our younger shoppers.  If you are moving or re-designing your home, why not think about bringing your items to us for consignment?  You get a write-off for taxes while helping Wellness House and all those who benefit from their programs.  Everyone wins because you are supporting an important cause!
