3 Bargains of the Week -- BOTW at The Courtyard

Periodically, we have donated items that we can reduce to very affordable prices so that our loyal customers can find a real bargain while helping out Wellness House by funding the programs they offer to people who live with cancer.  This week we have 3 such items -- our Bargains of the Week (BOTW).

First, we have a beautiful antique mahogany Victorian sideboard.  There is a center drawer and each side opens for storage with shelves.  It was originally $995.00 but is now only $395.00.

Second, we have a large glass front cabinet with shelving behind the glass, a pull out shelf and 2  doors on the bottom with shelving inside.  It would make a great bar with storage for your glassware on top, bottles on the bottom and the shelf pulled out for mixing and serving.   Let your imagination soar and come up with the perfect storage idea for your home!  This is now only $425.00 down from $1,100.00.

We have 2 very nice sofas that need a new home and very quickly.  One is pale pink with rolled arms.  The other is a soft celery green.  We have a large shipment coming in this Monday, 5/9/2016, so these have be out before that.  We are offering each of them at $125 and they have to be gone by Monday.  Come in and see what a great deal this is -- a BIG Bargain of the Week!

Another Bargain of the Week 3/16/2016

Bargain of the Week 3/9/2016

This is your lucky week because we have not just one but two Bargains of the Week!  Consider this an early St. Patrick's Day gift from us to you.  First, we have a lovely chaise lounge in pale raspberry/soft coral with a matching fringed pillow.  Read a book, take a nap or snuggle with a little one beside you.  If the color doesn't work for you, it would be easy to have reupholstered because the price is so low.  We are now asking $145 for this chaise that had originally been priced at $345.

Bargain of the Week -- Feb. 17, 2016

BOTW -- each week we have been offering special items that have been donated to the shop and then reducing them so that you can get something incredible for very little money.  So far,  all but one of our specials have SOLD!  This week we have a vintage needlepoint chair with floral design.  The pattern is on the arms, seat and back and the stitching is very well done.  Pale gold background with pastel colored flowers.  It was in the shop for $225 but is now priced at only $95.  Not only do you get a great piece of furniture for an even better price but the money goes to Wellness House to support their programs for people living with cancer.  Everyone wins!

Extending last weeks BOTW

We were unable to sell the 6 Kravet chairs that we offered last week for our "Bargain of the Week" so we are extending it for another 5 days in hopes of selling these chairs.  But to make the offer more appealing, we have reduced the price of each chair to $75 and if you purchase all 6, we will give you one of them FREE.  Next Monday, they will go to another charity if they don't sell.  Come take a look and see if they will work for you.  

"Bargain of the Week" -- BOTW

This week we offered a glass top dining table and 5 French country chairs at seriously low prices and they sold in 2 days.  So now it's Wednesday and we are offering another "BOTW" item.  We have 6 Kravet burgundy upholstered velvet chairs with unique striped inlay on the back.  These are in great condition and very comfortable and sturdy.  Originally these were priced at $250 each but we now have them available for only $150 each.  You can purchase just 1, a pair or all 6 -- whatever meets your needs.  Come quickly because if the success of our "Bargain of the Week" so far is any indication, these will be gone very soon.  Thanks for your loyalty and remember you are helping Wellness House with any purchase you make at The Courtyard.

Another "Bargain of the Week"

Last week began a new shopping opportunity for our customers, the "Bargain of the Week".  We started with 4 items that had been donated --  drastically lowered the prices and sold 2 immediately.  Now we are offering a very nice, unique game table with multiple drawers for storing game pieces and a top that is changeable for different games.  The original price for this table was $325 but today the price was lowered to $150.  Come soon because this won't last long!  Remember, shop with us first.

Bargain of the Week - Part 2

This is your lucky week!  Who knew that we would have 3 additional items donated today that we could reduce and offer to you?  The wicker desk is now just $25 and can be spray painted if you want another color.  Add a glass top for a smoother writing surface or make it into a vanity table.  The Oriental rug measures 9' x 13' and is priced at $595 - down from $1,200.  Lastly, the antique Captain's chair was $125 but can be yours for just $45.  Now how can you possibly pass this up?

Bargain of the Week

This week we are beginning a special offer of a donated item in our shop that we are calling our "Bargain of the Week".  Each Wednesday our merchandisers will select a donated item and the price will be reduced by approximately 40-50% so that you, our loyal customers, will have a chance to purchase a wonderful piece of furniture at a remarkable price.  The first item will be a beautiful pale aqua floral sofa in very good condition.  It was originally $495 but now it is just $295.  Where else can you find a full size sofa for such a reasonable price?  Come in soon because an offer like this won't last long.

New Consignments at The Courtyard

Sneak peek #65 -- we had such a great weekend that our shop looked empty until today when a few new items came in for consignment.  Our storage area is no longer available to us so we will be operating a little differently but it is a work in progress and we will be refining the method used to take in larger items.  Continue to send in photos via email of large items that you would like to consign.  Our merchandisers will view them and call you back.  We won't be able to accept things until we know that we have the necessary space to place it in the shop.  To better handle the donated furniture pieces that have not sold for the consigner, we will now have a Bargain of the Week that will be shown on Wednesday's.  The price will be drastically reduced and we will keep it for a few weeks before passing it along to another charity.  These are the new items from today.

Special Bargains at The Courtyard

We just had a very successful STORAGE SPECTACULAR and sold lots of items -- some donated allowing us the opportunity to work with our customers on the prices and new items that were consigned but had yet to come into the shop.  Not only did the storage facility have a lot of sales, so did the shop.  However, we have several very nice pieces of furniture that did not sell and we want to give you one more chance to take these home at a drastically reduced price.  

 The Welsh cupboard is very well made and designed.  It has pegs for cups and/or mugs, grooved narrow shelves for displaying dishes or photos, drawers and a shelf on the bottom for storing large platters or piles of books.  This was originally priced at $995 and is now $325

This lighted curio cabinet has glass shelving and is in very nice condition.  The drawers below will give you room for storing your dining room linens, flatware, etc.  You can use the glass cabinet for your china and crystal or collectibles.  This is now offered for only $150

This sofa is one of a pair but they can be purchased individually.  They will comfortably seat 2 adults and probably should be recovered but at this low price, it's very affordable to do that.  We are offering each for $150

Remember, because these are donated items, you can always make an offer.  The more we get for them the more Wellness House will receive for their programs and we ask that any offers be reasonable.  All of these are in our storage facility so if you are seriously interested, please come to the shop and someone will take you to see them. 

A Few Unbelievable Bargains at The Courtyard

We are cleaning house so to speak, and offering some exceptional deals on items that have been donated but not yet sold.  Before we pass them on to another not-for-profit organization, we thought we would try one more time to sell them to our loyal and regular customers.  These items will only be available for a week or so and all of them are currently located in our storage facility.  If you are seriously interested, please come in to The Courtyard and someone will take you over to see what is available.  We are very aware that people are searching for low priced items for their children's dorm rooms or new apartments so maybe something here ail work for you and for Wellness House.

These 2 vintage white wicker chairs (one is a rocker) are each priced at $25.  They are perfect for a porch, sun room, guest room at a cottage or lake house.

The white wicker settee is antique and needs to have one of the stringers repaired.  The wicker and cane bottom are in good condition.  The small white wicker desk or vanity is in good condition and could easily be spray painted to coordinate with your decor.  Add a small mirror and it would be a cute dressing table for a young lady to keep her hair supplies or make-up.  Each is priced at $35.

The sofa table is a light cream color but could be painted to match other furniture.  It would work for a flat-screen TV and a shelf could easily be added to the bottom for storage of components.  It is now $35.  The oval table is perfect for a small dining area and with the Windsor chairs (we have 4 of these) it would make a great dining or kitchen set.  The table is $50 and each chair is $25.  That's a really hard price to pass up!  The small square table, priced at $25, can be a coffee table or placed between 2 chairs or even stacked on another table and placed in a corner for some height.  Your choices are endless!

Bargain of the year at The Courtyard

We had a terrific BLOW OUT Sale last weekend at our storage facility.  Our goal was to sell out everything that had been donated and we almost succeeded.  But we do have a few things remaining that we are going to donate next week to another charitable organization.  However, before we do that we want to "make an offer ya can't refuse".  We have 3 sofas each priced at just $25, a Queen Anne dining room table for $100, a black granite top 40" square coffee table for $25, a set of 8 dining rooms chairs with silver metal frames and upholstered seats and back for $75, an unusual dining room table that extends from 59" round to 74" round with demi-lune leaf extensions priced at $50, a curio cabinet for just $25, and a set of 3 bookcases that can be purchased individually for $50 each - take 1 or all 3.

Drexel Armoire - Bargain of the Week

Each week we try to find one special item that has been donated to The Courtyard -- we reduce the price so that it becomes more affordable and hopefully someone will find it irresistible and feel the need to purchase it and take it home.  This week is no different. We have a beautiful Drexel armoire that is in very good condition.  It is a high end item with quality hardware and the patina is wonderful.  This would make a great statement as well as provide a lot of storage for your bedroom or perhaps in a family room for books, games, all sorts of things.  It was originally priced at $895 but today was reduced to just $350.  Come see this for yourself and appreciate what a great bargain this is.  You will save some money and Wellness House will receive the total purchase price for their programs for people and their families living with cancer.
