BAKER furniture

We have two lovely pieces of furniture that have not sold and are available in our storage area for a few more days.  First, is a Baker cabinet with shelving on top and drawers below.  This gives great display for your china and crystal, collectibles, books or even clothing when placed in a closet or bedroom.  Lots of ways to use this -- even for linens in a master bath.  The dining room table has 8 chairs and is also made by Baker.  Think long and hard before letting this pass you by.

Consignments at The Courtyard

Sneak peek #51 -- today was consignment day at The Courtyard.  We have a large variety of dishes now available as well as several new dining room tables with chairs, a china cabinet/hutch and many other small items.  Come shop with us!

Special Event Notice #2

We are busy getting all the overstocked furniture placed so that it can be seen, drawers open and chairs tried for comfort.  The pictures are the "Before" and you need to come see how much we will accomplish by Friday morning at 10:00 am when the doors open.  All of the proceeds go to Wellness House.  We have dining room tables and chairs, sideboards, china cabinets, sofas, end tables, beds, mirrors, rugs, paintings, upholstered chairs, desks, lamps, a few small items and more.  Come early and see just what great items are available for you to purchase and enjoy in your own home.

Vintage Oak Dining Room Table and Chairs

Treasure of the Week -- As many of our loyal customers are aware, we consign items for a period of 60 days.  If the item has not sold during the first 30 days, it is automatically reduced by 15%.  At the end of the 60 day period if it has not been purchased (about 85-90% of our items do sell) then it is either reclaimed or donated to Wellness House.  However, 10 days before something goes home and providing the cost is above $50, a bid can be placed on the item.  We then call the consignor with the bid and it is either accepted or rejected.  This is a one-time call -- we don't call back and forth multiple times because we just don't have the time or manpower to do that.  If your bid is accepted, then it is yours for the accepted price.  We have our customers sign a bid card that explains that if someone comes in to purchase the same item at the regular price then it is theirs.  Having your bid accepted does not place a HOLD on the item.  It means that if you really want the item then it is to your advantage to come in or call us as soon as possible and give us a credit card number to pay for it.  That being said, we have a "treasure" this week and we are offering you the opportunity to bid.

We have a round oak dining room/kitchen table that measures about 48 inches across and has 6 chairs. The chairs are currently covered with an animal print but could easily be changed.  This entire set could be painted or sanded and restrained to a different tone -- there are a lot of choices.  The set was originally priced at $695 but after the 15% reduction is now $590.75.  Because this is due to go home on the November 23, you can place a bid and all reasonable bids are considered.  This can be in your home in time for the holidays! Come in and see for yourself -- it may not last long once word is out that bids are now being accepted.
