BAKER furniture

We have two lovely pieces of furniture that have not sold and are available in our storage area for a few more days.  First, is a Baker cabinet with shelving on top and drawers below.  This gives great display for your china and crystal, collectibles, books or even clothing when placed in a closet or bedroom.  Lots of ways to use this -- even for linens in a master bath.  The dining room table has 8 chairs and is also made by Baker.  Think long and hard before letting this pass you by.  

Labor Day Sale

In honor of the Labor Day holiday, we are offering 3 very nice items at drastically reduced prices.  These offers are good until the end of the shopping day on Saturday, September 12.  

First, we have a cherry Queen Anne dining table with 6 chairs and 2 leaves.  It was originally priced at $995 and after it was donated we reduced it to $595.  For this week only it is now priced at just $350.  With the holidays coming up way too fast, it's time to think about a new dining room table for your home so that you have room for everyone in the family.  The detail on the legs just adds to the beauty.  

Second is a large traditional cherry china cabinet with lots of space for displaying or storing your china and crystal, collectibles or books.  A customer today suggested taking the doors off the top and making it into a bar.  Lots of things that this can be used for.  Originally it was $595 then reduced to $295.  Buy it this week for just $175.

And lastly we have a beautiful Thomasville oak mission style dining room table with 2 leaves and 6 chairs -- 2 arm, 4 side.  It is a well made table and in very good condition.  The fabric on the chairs looks new.  This came in at $995 but for this week only, it can be yours for just $850.

"Green Light Special" at The Courtyard

Today is the beginning a new year and a new idea.  We are going to offer a "Green Light Special" probably on a weekly basis, of items in our shop that have been donated.  This allows us the ability to lower the price in hopes of stimulating our shoppers to come in and take home a terrific piece of furniture, set of china, painting, etc.  You take home something wonderful and Wellness House receives all the proceeds for their programs benefiting families living with cancer.  Win - Win!

Green is the color for GO.  Green is the contrast color of the logo for The Courtyard.  Green is the color of money.  This pine cabinet has glass doors with pine shelving and drawers on the lower half for storage of china, flatware, linens, etc.  But it an be used in a family room for books and games, an office for books and files, display space for collections, let your imagination run wild.  All of this for only $325.  So GO to The Courtyard and save money on this "Green Light Special".

Only 4 shopping days left at The Courtyard until Christmas so Santas' elves have decided to help you complete your gift list!  Last night we posted on our Facebook page and the featured item was sold within the 1st hour of business today.  We are hopeful this will continue because all of the funds will go to support Wellness House and everyone is a winner.  Tonight we are offering a large LED lighted china cabinet with 4 glass doors and glass shelves.  It is 72" wide and 18" deep.  Don't need a place for china and crystal?  Then re-purpose it for something else -- books, collections of figurines, birds, toys, etc.  All of this for only $300.  Come early to see what a great cabinet this is and make arrangements for delivery before Christmas.  Shop The Courtyard First!  Watch for our postings each night through the 22nd of December.

SPECIAL EVENT June 20-21, 2014

Attention!  Save the date!  Mark your calendar!  We are having a special event at our storage facility behind The Courtyard on Friday and Saturday, June 20 and 21, 2014 from 10:00 am until 4:30 pm each day.  There is a large assortment of merchandise ranging from beds to dining room tables and chairs, wing chairs, side tables, desks, lamps, rugs, china cabinets, benches, side chairs, pictures, chests, coffee tables -- just about anything your heart desires.

Most of these things are consignment items that have not yet been in the shop.  Because of that, we can't take offers but will sell at the price shown on the tags.  The advantage for you is that you get to see and have the opportunity to purchase these things before they come into the shop.  A few things are donated and we will be pricing them to sell quickly -- that helps you and Wellness House so it is a win-win for everyone.

For those who have been to our previous special events, you know that this works as "pay and go" meaning you need to be able to either take the item with you or arrange for pick-up within a very short time preferably by the end of the event on Saturday afternoon.  Our storage facility is temporary and we could be asked to move at any time so we don't have the ability to store your items for more than a few days.  Thank you for understanding and for helping us support Wellness House and all the wonderful work they do for people affected by cancer.  Come early!  And watch for our signs that will be on display the days of the sale at homes in the area.

Newly arrived!

Sneak peek of the week #18 -- another week for some amazing new arrivals at our shop!  Our apologies for the website www.shopthecourtyard.com  being down all week.  The home page works as do the links to Facebook, our blog and Pinterest but the link for Featured Items is broken and in the process of being repaired.  So please bare with us and come back often to see the new featured items as they are listed.  For now, this is our best way of showing you what arrived today.

Consignment Federal style China Cabinet

Deal of the Week #1 -- this week we are pleased to offer you a lovely "As Is" Federal style china cabinet with bubble glass.  It has recently been donated and we have priced it at $200 in hopes of making it as affordable for our customers as possible.  This is currently in our shop and will be there for several weeks to give everyone the opportunity to see and purchase this piece of furniture.
